Itinerary
Arrival & Transfer to Yala
Airport pickup, scenic drive to the Yala region. Check into a safari lodge. Afternoon birdwatching walk around the lodge grounds.
Yala National Park Safari
Full-day jeep safari in Yala — Sri Lanka's premier wildlife park. Search for leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles and over 200 bird species. Picnic lunch in the bush.
Minneriya Elephant Gathering
Morning transfer to Minneriya. Afternoon jeep safari to witness the famous Elephant Gathering — up to 300 wild elephants converging at the ancient reservoir.
Udawalawe National Park
Early morning drive to Udawalawe. Full-day jeep safari known for its large elephant herds and the Elephant Transit Home. Visit the transit home to see baby elephants being rehabilitated.
Departure
Morning nature walk and breakfast. Transfer to Colombo Airport for departure with incredible wildlife memories.
